Operations at the mine site have gradually resumed since mid-April, following government authorization. The Community Relations Office will remain closed for the time being; however, the following programs will resume remotely on June 1, 2020:
The Renovation Program is for residential and commercial building owners in Malartic’s* southern neighbourhood. Given the situation, the mandatory registration period for this program will extend from June 1 through to September 1, 2020.
Here’s how to register:
In the weeks following the pre-registration period end date, you will be invited to pick up a letter confirming your renovation credit and defining the conditions of use. Your proof of ownership will also be returned to you. Please note that your renovation credit, which was to expire on June 19, 2022, has been extended through to September 30, 2022.

Some owners and tenants in the southern neighbourhood are eligible* for the Guidelines Governing the Acquisition of Principal Residences in Malartic. The deadline for applying for this program was August 31, 2020, but has been extended through to November 9, 2020.
