The Odyssey Mine, now under construction, will develop the continuity of the deposit in the Canadian Malartic and Barnat pits through known underground mineralized zones. We will become one of Canada’s largest underground gold mines. We are located approximately 3 km east of the entrance to the Town of Malartic.
AT THE PEAK OF OPERATIONS
AS SOON AS 2029-2030
PLANNED PRODUCTION BETWEEN 2029-2042:
Since March 20, 2023, the Odyssey Mine has been conducting production blasting operations between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. During these times, the residents of Malartic and those living on des Merles Road in Rivière-Héva may feel slight vibrations.
We are monitoring blasting operations and use the best equipment and methods available to manage them.
