We laced up our running shoes for the September 21 edition of the Malartic Half-marathon, presented by Agnico Eagle and also supported by the FECM. Runners stopped by our stand to quench their thirst with our branded sparkling waters.
We are pleased to be the presenting partner of the Festival Western de Malartic. Thanks to the Festival’s organizing committee and volunteers, it’s a not-to-be-missed event that offers colorful shows and a wide range of activities, including its parade through the streets of Malartic, in which we participated for the second time.
As the host of the fourth stage of the Tour de l’Abitibi men’s race, our team invited the entire community to gather at Malartic Belvedere Park on Thursday, July 17. We served free hot dogs and drinks to everyone who came out to cheer on the cyclists!
Our team had the pleasure of meeting with Malartic residents to discuss the Canadian Malartic pit fill and plans for re-profiling the waste rock pile at the last Public Market of the season on September 26.
On September 9, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 70 seniors for a guided tour of our two sites. In addition to seniors from Malartic and Rivière-Héva, several seniors from the four communities that signed the collaboration agreement joined the tour to mark National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
