Today, the Canadian Malartic mine celebrates 10 consecutive years of compliance with Quebec’s air quality standards, in accordance with the Clean Air Regulation.
This achievement, maintained without interruption, represents much more than a simple milestone. It reflects the best practices adopted by each of our employees and contractors, and the daily commitment to our three steps to safe operations:
1. Is it safe for employees
2. Does it respect the environment and the community?
3. Once the first two steps have been confirmed, operations may proceed.
This performance is also supported by our commitment to operate in a way that respects both the environment and our host community. It is also the result of the effective implementation of our various mitigation measures and best operating practices.
