We are pleased to be the presenting partner of the Festival Western de Malartic. Thanks to the Festival’s organizing committee and volunteers, it’s a not-to-be-missed event that offers colorful shows and a wide range of activities, including its parade through the streets of Malartic, in which we participated for the first time.
The sun shone brightly as we served hot dogs and refreshments to citizens and volunteers at our traditional BBQ during the Tour de l’Abitibi, in which Agnico Eagle is a partner.
The Communications and Community Relations team was THRILLED to take part in “Malartic ensorcelée”, a Town of Malartic initiative. To celebrate Halloween in a big way, we handed out candy to costumed individuals who stopped by our Community Relations Office on the evening of October 31.
We laced up our running shoes for the September 22 edition of the Malartic Half-marathon, presented by Agnico Eagle and also supported by the FECM. Runners stopped by our stand to quench their thirst with our branded sparkling waters.
We’ve been collecting returnable soft-drink cans at both our sites and donating them to Groupe Soleil de Malartic since early 2023, thanks to an initiative of our Infrastructure team. Groupe Soleil’s members benefit directly from the proceeds during their activities.
