Canadian Malartic Mine today reached a milestone: seven consecutive years of compliance with Québec’s air quality standards pursuant to the Clean Air Regulation.
This performance over 2,557 consecutive days is based on three critical steps to safe operations that all team members apply daily.
1- Is it safe for employees?
2- Does it respect the environment and the community?
3- Once the first two steps have been confirmed, operations may proceed.
This performance is also based on our commitment to operate in a manner that is environmentally sound and respects our host community. It is also the culmination of various mitigation measures that are effectively enforced and best operating practices that are applied daily by our employees and those of our contractors.
We are committed to building on this foundation.
