The court confirmed an out-of-court settlement in the class-action lawsuit on December 13, 2019.
Under the out-of-court settlement, citizens living in Malartic’s southern sector or on the Chemin des Merles in Rivière-Héva may use the Compensation Program included in the Good Neighbour Guide for the July 1, 2013 to December 31, 2018, retroactive compensation periods, if they are eligible and have not previously used the program.
