The Canadian Malartic Partnership was presented with the Discovery of the Year Award at the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association (QMEA) virtual 2021 Xplor Convention in recognition for the discovery of the East Gouldie zone of the Odyssey mine in September 2018.
It is worth noting that the discovery of this mineralized zone at depth has significantly changed the Odyssey Project by ensuring its economic viability and making it possible that, only 3 years later, we completed the casting of a 93 m headframe for the Odyssey mine.
This award is the result of the efforts and commitment of the members of several teams who worked together to further the common goal of developing the Partnership’s mining camp for many years to come.
